Fort Edward is the county seat of beautiful Washington County, NY. At one point, in the mid-1700s, Fort Edward was the third most populous area in the not-yet-formed United States after New York City and Boston. Fort Edward is centrally located between Saratoga Springs and Lake George and is bordered to the West by the Hudson River.
Traveling by car, Fort Edward is 20 minutes North of Saratoga, 15 minutes South of Lake George, 10 minutes South of Glens Falls and minutes away from Hudson Falls, Schuylerville, Argyle, Corinth, Moreau, and South Glens Falls. If you are traveling up the Hudson River by boat, Fort Edward is just North of Lock 7 on the Champlain Canal. Feel free to dock at the Fort Edward Yacht Basin and explore our Village.
Now, most importantly, King Smiley Billiards is located at 49 Broadway (route 4) in the historic Village of Fort Edward, just South of The Anvil Inn and just North of the Old Fort House Museum. It’s a short trip from anywhere. By river, by rail, by road – all paths lead to Fort Edward.
